Our Story - Why Nurse Pathway ?

Phillips School of Nursing Graduation
Phillips School of Nursing Graduation

Nurse Pathway was founded in 2022 by Andy, a graduate of the rigorous 15-month accelerated nursing program at the Phillips School of Nursing at Mount Sinai in New York City. During his own training, Andy recognized a critical gap in nursing education: many capable, motivated students lacked access to structured, high-quality academic support tailored to the realities of modern nursing programs.

To help bring this vision to life, Andy recruited his close friend Sarin—who graduated at the top of his class and was widely respected for both academic excellence and clinical skill. Together, they combined strong educational foundations with real-world nursing experience to build a support system designed for students at every stage of their journey.

Since its inception, Nurse Pathway has supported hundreds of nursing students from diverse backgrounds, including single mothers, career-pivoters, CNAs advancing their education, students returning to school after years away, and individuals in their 40s and 50s pursuing nursing as a second or third career. Nurse Pathway was built on the belief that success in nursing is not limited by age, background, or starting point—but by access to the right guidance and support.

Nurse Pathway specializes in preparation for pre-entry nursing exams, core nursing coursework, and the NCLEX, offering personalized, one-on-one tutoring and small-group instruction. Our team of experienced nursing educators meets students where they are—strengthening foundational knowledge, reinforcing clinical reasoning, and building the confidence needed to succeed in demanding programs.

Rooted in a commitment to excellence, accessibility, and inclusion, Nurse Pathway continues to empower future nurses from all walks of life to achieve their academic goals and make a lasting impact in healthcare.
