Happy New Year!! Check out this months tips and Oraculix's big plans for the year.

On behalf of the Oraculix NY team, we wish our students & clients a happy beginning to the 2023 school year!

Oraculix is an organization that will serve as a one-stop shop for pre-health students attending Long Island colleges/universities. Below are some of our organization's services and plans for the future.

Current Initiatives

• Job Matching between Pre-health students and medical facilities on Long Island

• Shadowing between Pre-health students and medical providers

• Monthly Newsletter containing pertinent information (ex: Internship opportunities)

• Guest Speakers

• Pre-Health Advisement

• Tutoring Services

• Community Service Events

• Networking Events

• Access to preparatory courses (ex: NCLEX, MCAT, DAT, GRE)

• Access to technical skill courses (ex: Phlebotomy, PCA, MA)

Oraculix's Tip of the Month

For first- & second-year students pursuing a health career, consider applying to the SHPEP program. There is an application deadline of February 5th, 2023. Here is some quick information on the program.

• A free Summer Program for students interested in medicine, dentistry, optometry, pharmacy, nursing, physical therapy, public health, and more.

• 12 Institutions across the US host the program. Colleges like Columbia, UCLA, Howard, University of Florida, and more.

• Travel, Housing, and meals are covered! There is also a stipend.

• The outcomes of the program are fantastic!
